This handcrafted Litsea Cubeba Soap is packed with all natural ingredients including olive oil, organic coconut oil, avocado oil, and unrefined shea butter.
Olive oil, a naturally moisturizing base oil, is high in polyphenolic compounds to help promote elasticity and even skin tone. Coconut oil adds cleansing properties and with it's high vitamin E content helps repair and support the protective barrier functions of your skin. Avocado oil penetrates deeply into the skin and adds extra conditioning properties.
We also use our in-house rendered tallow in this recipe, creating a long lasting, hard bar of soap. Tallow's properties mimic the sebum of healthy skin and can help heal dry, flaky skin conditions.
Litsea Cubeba essential oil provides a wonderful combination of earthy floral and citrus scents for this bar of soap. Uplifting and refreshing, this essential oil is sourced from an evergreen shrub native to southeast Asia and it's anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal properties can help balance acne prone skin.
